Title: Disappearing Poems
Medium: Mixed media
Haiku-length disappearing poems are dispensed from ten gumball machines installed in ArtYard’s Invisible exhibition. Printed on water-soluble paper, the poems may be treasured and retained or dropped in a water-filled receptacle to disappear.
Medium: Old photographs and cotton thread
Vernacular photographs are sewn in chronological order from the advent of everyday photography in the early 20th Century to the present day, marking the passage of time in the quotidian lives of strangers. Produced for the exhibition The Past is Prologue, Vernacular Photography, Pop Photographica and the Road to Selfie Culture at ArtYard, 2019.
